# Your Adobe account

Learn about your Adobe account details on the Adobe tab of your agreement.

You can see details of your Adobe account that come directly from Adobe on the **Adobe** tab of your agreement. This helps you check your 3-year commitment, linked membership, global customer setting, and discount codes in one place.

To open the Adobe tab:

1. Go to **Marketplace** > **Agreements**.
2. Select the Adobe agreement.
3. Select the **Adobe** tab.

Under **Manage account**, the tab has four sections: **3-year commitment**, **Linked membership**, **Global customer**, and **Discounts**.

### 3-year commitment

This section shows your 3-year commitment as Adobe currently records it. The following table describes the three groups of details:

| Group                    | What it shows                                                                                                                   |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Current commitment** | Your active 3-year commitment: its status, minimum licenses and consumables, and start and end dates. |
| **Commitment request** | A commitment you have been invited to, or a request to increase your commitment: its status, minimums, and start and end dates. |
| **Recommitment request** | An invitation to commit for another 3 years when your current commitment ends: its status and minimums. |

The following table describes the statuses you might see:

| Status           | Meaning                                                                          |
| ---------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Requested** | An invitation has been sent. Accept it in the Adobe Admin Console. |
| **Accepted** | You accepted the invitation, but you haven't reached the minimum quantities yet. |
| **Committed** | Your 3-year commitment is active, and its discount level applies. |
| **Declined** | The invitation was declined. |
| **Noncompliant** | You are below your committed minimum. |
| **Expired** | The commitment or invitation has ended. |

To request a 3-year commitment, increase it, or recommit, contact SoftwareOne. For more details, see [How do I accept my 3-year commitment invitation?](/extensions/adobe-vip-marketplace/faqs/how-do-i-accept-my-3-year-commitment-invitation.md).

### Linked membership

This section shows whether your Adobe account is part of a linked membership, which lets several Adobe accounts combine their quantities for volume discounts. It shows the membership **Type** (**Standard** or **Consortium**), this account's role in the membership, and the creation date.

To create a linked membership, contact SoftwareOne. Note that a linked membership cannot be created for an account with a 3-year commitment, and it cannot be changed once it is created.

### Global customer

This section shows whether your Adobe account is set up as a global customer, so that you can buy licenses for users in more than one country. For more details, see [Global customers](/extensions/adobe-vip-marketplace/your-adobe-account/global-customers.md).

To set up your account as a global customer, contact SoftwareOne.

### Discounts

This section lists the flexible discount codes available to you. For more details, see [Adobe discount codes](/extensions/adobe-vip-marketplace/your-adobe-account/adobe-discount-codes.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.platform.softwareone.com/extensions/adobe-vip-marketplace/your-adobe-account.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
