# How to disable the automatic renewal of an NCE subscription

If you want to prevent your NCE subscription from automatically renewing, you can disable automatic renewal by placing a configuration order.

Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current commitment period and will expire afterward without any additional charges.

## Disabling the automatic renewal of an NCE subscription

To disable the automatic renewal of your NCE subscription:

1. Go to the **Subscriptions** page. 
2. Select the required NCE subscription. Make sure that the subscription and the agreement are active.
3. 4. In the configuration wizard, do the following:
   1. In the **Auto renewal** step, choose **Disabled** and select **Next**.&#x20;
   2. In the **Order details** step, provide the optional additional ID and notes for your order. When done, select **Next**.
   3. In the **Review order** step, select **Place order** to submit your order.&#x20;
   4. In the **Summary** step, select **View order** to go to the order details page. Otherwise, select **Close**.

When your order has been processed, the subscription details page displays the status as **Auto-renewal disabled**.&#x20;

If you want to re-enable the automatic renewal, follow the same steps you used to disable it, but choose the **Enable** option in the configuration wizard.
