Disable automatic renewal

This tutorial explains how to disable automatic renewal for your subscription by placing a configuration order.

Prerequisites

Ensure that both the subscription and its associated agreement are active.

Start the process

To start the process:

  1. Go to Marketplace > Subscriptions.

  2. Select the required subscription.

  3. On the subscription details page, select the dropdown arrow <svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" height="24px" viewBox="0 -960 960 960" width="24px" fill="#5f6368"><path d="M480-344 240-584l56-56 184 184 184-184 56 56-240 240Z"/></svg>, then choose Configure.

Submit the configuration order

In the guided configuration workflow, do the following:

  1. Auto-renewal – Select Disabled, then select Next.

  2. Order details – Add any reference details or comments, then select Next.

  3. Review order – Review the order details, then select Place order.

  4. Summary – Select View order to open the order details page or select Close.

Next steps

After the configuration order is submitted, your subscription will remain active through the end of the current commitment period and will then expire without any additional charges.
