# Change renewal policies for CSP subscriptions

Change renewal policies for multiple CSP subscriptions at once.

You can update the renewal policy for multiple subscriptions under the same agreement through a single order.

This allows you to apply the same renewal action to multiple active subscriptions at once. Available renewal actions include renewing subscriptions to a new term, extending the current service term, or canceling subscriptions at the end of their current term.

The selected changes are submitted as a single configuration order and applied to all eligible subscriptions included in the order.

### Prerequisites

Only subscriptions under an active agreement can be updated.

### Change renewal policies for CSP subscriptions

To change renewal policies:

1. Go to **Marketplace** > **Agreements**.
2. Select the required agreement.
3. On the agreement details page, select the **Subscriptions** tab, then select **Configure**.

4. In the guided **Configure** flow, do the following:
 1. Select the renewal option to apply, then select **Next**.
 2. Select the active subscriptions to update, then select **Next**.
 3. Enter a reference ID and order notes, then select **Next**.
 4. Review the changes and select **Place order**.
 5. To open the order details page, select **View order**. Otherwise, select **Close**.

The configuration order is submitted for processing. Once processing is complete, the selected subscriptions are updated with the new renewal policy.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.platform.softwareone.com/extensions/microsoft-cloud-solution-provider/products-and-programs/microsoft-nce/change-renewal-policies-for-csp-subscriptions.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
