App Overview
Access your Marketplace account from your mobile device.
The SoftwareOne Marketplace app provides secure access to key functionalities of the platform on mobile devices.
It is designed for quick and convenient access, allowing you to stay connected on the go and access Marketplace seamlessly at any time and from anywhere. This app is intended for existing users who want to track important objects and stay informed about updates.
The app is read-only. This means you can view the data associated with your account, but you cannot make purchases or any changes to your subscriptions or account.
Access and requirements
The app currently supports iOS devices running iOS 17 or later. Android support is planned for a future release. To use the app, you must:
Have an existing account in the SoftwareOne Marketplace.
Have received an email invitation to use the mobile experience.
Once you receive your mobile invitation email, follow the instructions provided to sign in and start using the app on your supported device. To learn more, see Get started with the app.
App capabilities
The app supports a subset of core platform features optimized for mobile use. Within the mobile app, you can view:
Specific objects that may need your attention, such as expiring subscriptions, orders querying for additional information, and more.
Billing documents, including credit memos, invoices, and statements.
All accounts you belong to, and switch between them.
Your profile information and account settings.
You cannot use the mobile app to perform management or purchasing actions, like placing orders, modifying subscriptions, changing settings, or performing admin tasks.
App navigation
Home
When you first open the mobile app, the Spotlight screen is displayed. This home screen shows all objects that need your attention. These objects may include your expiring or renewal due subscriptions, overdue invoices, orders requiring additional information, and so on.
Use the category filters at the top of the screen to view objects by category. For example, to view all orders that may require an action, select Orders.
To view extended information for an object, tap the object. For example, to view detailed information for a subscription, tap the subscription.
Bottom navigation
Use the bottom navigation to move between the main sections of the app:
Spotlight - View key objects that require your attention.
Orders - View your orders and their details.
Subscriptions - View your subscriptions and their status.
More - Access additional modules, such as billing, catalog, and more.
All object pages follow the same pattern. They include a list of objects, allowing you to scroll the list and tap an object to view detailed information.
Profile menu
At the top, you'll find your profile menu. Select this menu to view your profile or switch to a different account in the Marketplace.
