# Spotlight widget

The **Spotlight** widget helps you track items that need attention directly from the interface. It highlights important platform objects such as overdue invoices, querying orders, and expiring subscriptions so you can act quickly.

The widget appears on the Home page by default. You can also open it from the status bar by selecting the spotlight icon .

### Review spotlight items

Spotlight groups items by object type, such as Orders, Subscriptions, and more. Each category shows the number of items that need attention, so you can quickly see where action is needed.

By default, Spotlight shows up to five items in each category. If more items are available, select **View all** to open the related main page and review the full list.

### Refresh spotlight

Spotlight updates automatically on a regular schedule to ensure you stay informed and always have the latest information. You can also refresh the list manually by selecting the sync icon :arrows-rotate:.
