# Rename subscription

You can rename your subscription so you can find it easily in your list of subscriptions. 

A subscription can be renamed using the Rename option on the subscription details page. Only active and updating subscriptions can be renamed.

Changing the subscription name only affects its display in the Marketplace. The updated subscription name is not reflected in the vendor systems.

### Rename a subscription

To rename a subscription:

1. Go to **Marketplace** > **Subscriptions**.
2. Select the subscription to rename.
3. 4. In the **Rename** dialog, enter the new name, then select **Save**. The subscription is renamed.
