# Terminate Adobe agreement

If you want to cancel all subscriptions within an agreement, you must terminate the agreement itself. This is done by placing a termination order. This tutorial shows how to create a termination order for an agreement.

Adobe subscriptions can be terminated both within and outside the 14-day return period. For details on the cancellation policies, see [What happens if I terminate my Adobe subscription?](https://docs.platform.softwareone.com/extensions/adobe-vip-marketplace/faqs/what-happens-if-i-terminate-my-adobe-subscription)

### Prerequisites

Before starting this tutorial, make sure that the agreement you want to terminate is active. Agreements in any other [state ](https://docs.platform.softwareone.com/modules-and-features/marketplace/agreements/agreement-states)cannot be terminated.
