My order contains Azure reservations and savings plan items
If you see Microsoft Azure Reserved Instances and Microsoft Azure Savings Plan items appearing in your order, it's important to understand what they mean and how they benefit you.
We add these items to your order with specific permissions granted to your cloud account. This lets you access and manage these cost-saving options directly through the Azure portal.
When these items are added, no extra charges are applied to the account unless you choose to purchase Azure Reservations or Savings Plans using the Azure portal. If you decide to purchase these cost-saving options, the charges will be billed on the date associated with your Azure plan.
With Azure reservations and savings plan items, you can leverage Microsoft's self-service capabilities for provisioning cost-saving. This self-service approach allows you to:
Make purchasing decisions at your own pace.
Select the exact configurations that match your workload needs.
